Serious question.
Is there any real reason that they are miniskirts? Pretty much all body pieces that you wear with it make the skirt part disappear, making it look like you aren't even wearing anything on your leg slot. It looks ridiculous no matter what you wear with it.
Could we get this item/type of item completely redone to actually look like pants or shorts? It would be even better to bring back the looks of Healer's / Cleric's Pantaloons from XI. They actually made you look like a healer.

They aren't ever going to redo an existing item. Eventually, if you don't like the look of XYZ item, you'll be able to slap something you do like the look of on over it.

You can wear it with all the ugly Cult looking hoods and typical mage wear.
That way you won't see it. c;
