Level cap 50, but gear goes up to lvl 95?

So the level cap has stayed the same and probably will be for a while. But why keep raising the level of gear? I understand it is to keep the lvl 50 players somewhat entertained on pursuing more endgame gear, but now the Mog weapons will be stronger then the relics? So what are you going to do next?
- While the physical level cap stays 50, how much higher is the gear going to get?
- What are you (SE) going to do when the level cap is raised to 55? Will the gear be lvl 200 by then?
- What good is relic going to be now that is will be out done? Are there going to be like AF2 weapons? or upgrades to the relics?
- How is the gear lvl and physical lvl going to be balanced when the physical cap is raised?

The mog weapons will not be stronger than relic.

Itemlvl has to increase over patches while Character Lvl cap stays the same, otherwise there is no "progression" in gearing up and therefore no reason to get better gear once you got the "first" gear available, other then maybe secondary stats preferences.

WoW has a Lvl90 Character cap. Itemlvl is at 564...

PS: Moogle weaps are on par with Relic, not Relic+1.

Correction: Moogle weapons are ilvl 80 (same as relic). That doesn't mean the stats will be the same. People take ilvl too literal like that's the only number that matters.

Ok, relic won't be out done by Mog weapons, but equal. Relic (currently) lvl 80 and Mog weapons (will be) lvl 80, but relic +1 (currently) lvl 90. I didn't read if the relic lvls will be adjusted or not, don't get far in the letter from the producer.

I haven't played WoW, but on that lvl 90 job with lvl 500+ gear!!! Blah, that concept will take some getting used to.

In the live letter, mog weapons will be level 90 but weaker than Relics..

even if both mog weapons and relic are on same ilv80, their rarity is not, probably the stats themselves wont be has high has the relic... even if both are ilvl80

Think of relic being an Artifact Weapon instead, it's what it seems like in my book considering they are so easy to get. There will eventually be new weapons released, I'm pretty certain Yoshi talked about Excalibur(Paladins weapon) already loooong ago tho, so I doubt our current relics will be final form.
