[Suggestion] Filter/Search Crafting Log, quick switch to ingredient recipes

Please give us a way to search and/or filter the crafting log by item name/slot/type.

When I'm crafting, I generally know what I want to make. Either by exact name ("Cotton breeches of crafting") or by type ("some pants"). What I don't know is exactly what level it is. It's annoying to have to click each individual level range, then scroll around until I see the item. Especially when crafting several different things in a row.

It would also be nice if we could click on something in an item's ingredient list and have that recipe load. For example, if a pair of pants require Undyed Cotton Cloth, an element to click that would bring up the recipe for that, so you could craft the cloth, then go back to the recipe for the pants.

The development team is aware of requests to have a favorite list and a search feature for the crafting log. Please know that the current crafting log is not in its final state and the development team will be looking into implementing elements one by one to improve its usability based on the requests that are made.

In that case could we please have filters for things such as :-
Level
Light, Medium and Heavy
Current class can use
DOW
DOM
DOH
DOL

Also some itemisation on the recipe list such as:-
Head
Chest
Wrists
Hands etc

If I could select a level then a slot in relation to a specific discipline I'd be an extremely happy person if I got a list of recipes.

Yes and as Bixby mentioned.. Links within a final combine recipe to the recipes for the individual mats to cut down on hunting around.

**PS** I think in a nutshell the crafting log needs to be chopped up into level tiers and armour slot as default so we can just expand the part of the tree we require.

I've always wished there was a way to somehow click on an ingredient item in my inventory and see what available recipes I could use it with.

I really hate pointing back to WoW, but it's the MMO i'm most familiar with, and it has quite a few ways to sort your crafting projects...

*By default, it sorts the crafts into 'tool', 'weapon', 'armour', etc.
*You're able to further refine your search into "heavy armour", "Chest armour" or what's needed to craft in order to level.
*It has a search bar where you can type in your materials and it will bring up all items that use that material or you can type in the name (partial or full) of the item itself.

Taking even two of these sorting methods would make the XIV system much easier to use and would only make people enjoy the crafting system more.. i mean, i don't know of anyone who likes sorting through lists to find the item they want to make.
