monk gear question, full DL or... ?

full DL or mix a few militia piece to maximizing crit rate ?
is it worth to make some crafted piece?

Stick with full DL. You'll get more out of those points of STR.

If you can afford it (tomes/materia), start going for the Gryphonskin set if you want to maximize your other stats like Crit. Same STR as DL when HQ'd, with the added bonus of having more variety of stats based on how you materia meld them.

Full DL hands down. The amount of crit you would get would not be worth it.

What these guys said. Also, your first consideration should always be Determination > Crit. Especially considering Bootshine gives 100% crit rate (basically negating any crit you've picked up, at least for that attack). And even if you never use Bootshine and stick to Dragon Kick all the time, Determination's stat weight is still considered > crit.
