Why can't Summoner Egi's look like this?

I was watching the new Extreme mode primals and noticed that they summon their own Egis. WTF!

They look far more cooler than what SMNs have. If those models are already in the game, why can't we have them? They could just make them smaller.

Even Yoshi made a quip in the last Live Letter:

"as for titan egi, lots of people called them potatoes so I think they got mad."

Garuda is a bad example as she doesn't summon egis, she summons sisters. Been doing so since 1.0. And, really, they had to make the extreme primals harder somehow. I mean, Ifrit has a nail orgy and does the area burning circles more often. Titan, made harder, could only be to have a little mini-me running around.

Yes... I can get past the fact that they're floating/miniature/have no legs... but that glow... ugh.

Make them solid color and a little bigger and they'd look almost as cool as the Carbuncle.

What he's talking about is a Summoner being able to summon mini primals like how the extreme mode Primals summon mini versions of themselves

How would it block your screen if it looked just like the primal but shrunk down to egi size like people suggest? Do the egis block your screen? People just hate the aesthetic design of the egis - they look like FF11 elementals.

This is seriously the weakest argument to this kind of suggestion. As far out as we can freaking zoom and as easily as we can change camera angles in this game, it is nothing like FFXI in terms of potential to block your screen. What happens when a monster aggroes you from behind in a dungeon? You change up your angle to include both. It's not that difficult. Hell, Garuda stays as far back as she possibly can anyway.

I'd hate to think the reason SMN can't have pets with better details and slightly larger sizes is because of that reason. It's a pet class...I want it to focus on the pets. Ugh. But that's a soap-box for another day.

They hardly blocked your screen in XI unless you were tossing summoners at something for easy mode lol.
