Error: 20524

I did change date in game.ver and boot.ver... still error:20524... Im going to try and reinstall and then change boot.ver date to same game.ver Im getting tired of this but appreciate yall effort to help me

After uninstalling but before re-installing, delete the FFXIV folder under "My Games" manually. But back it up to your desktop first.

i have same problem here, are you resolved this problem

in my case i install ffxiv, but i had to format my pc for outher reason, now i try install and i have same problem

You can try manually setting the date in game.ver and boot.ver to the newest patch. Should be "2011.06.10.0000" for game and "2010.09.18.0000" for boot. Changing those files worked for most people with this bug I think.
