2.1 End game for ppl who have cleared coil.

Hello, I'm very concerned with 2.1 as with people in my guild. Are there choices for Pve players who starting playing from the beginning/have cleared coil and obtained most of their allagan/myth gears ?

The Hermit Hovel. The ERP there can be very difficult, but the best part is you actually do better with no gear at all so you're good to go. That grind though...

there will be nothing worth while til 2.2. Just spend two or three weeks clearing all the 2.1 fights that you already out gear and unsub til 2.2

What is ERP? I've never heard of that duty before?

Yeah it is unfortunate that CT was released after Coil but it is what it is. There should be lots of stuff to do but it won't get us higher iLvl gear on our main jobs. Once I get what I need out of coil I haven't decided if I will take a break or just continue to run things that other people need.

Eventually there will be additional/harder things to tackle but we have to accept the delay and try to be patient.

Unfortunately you have 2 options here, 1. pick a new main class and play the same content you already played + new content and actually enjoy it or 2. play new content on OP class and then quit until 2.2.

I'm going to just get all the gears from every dungeon that I think is cool for vanity sakes. xD

CT is still new content and new content doesn't always need to be harder. Saying there's nothing to do when you have 3 Primal EMs, Moogle King, 2 HM dungeons, 1 new dungeon, PvP and one new raid instance coming up is very silly. They may not be as hard as Coil, but it is still new content worth exploring.

We've been assured that the gap between 2.1 and 2.2 won't be nearly as long as that between(e.g. 2-3 months instead of 4+)

To the OP: Unless you and everyone in your guild have all 9 jobs maxed out and fully geared, there will be plenty of stuff for you to do. You're sure to play all the new runs at least once or twice for the sake of playing them, and CT will present an oppertunity to gear up those jobs you haven't fully geared up from coil.

There's also PvP, which among other reasons, exists to give you something fun to do between patches.

Someone don't like some job, myself i play Pld, war, drg, blm. I will never play any other class, except maybe a dark knight if he come out someday. But for people who already some of their class they like to play already full stuff, yes the content will be long to come. 3 - 4 month will be long :/
