Game been around long enough that most groups should beable to speedrun DF .

Sorry, wrong. It's an MMO, new people are reaching 50 all the time. Guess what's the first (easiest) dungeon a fresh lvl 50 will run? WP. To expect speedrunning skills/mentality out of a new 50 who's just starting their tome grind is ridiculous. "Blah blah read a guide/watch a video" - no thanks; I'm not paying a monthly sub just to play the game how you want players to play it.

Like I said before, get off the DF and find a group if you're going to be that particular about how your run goes. In the long run, won't that save you time anyway? If you can't find a group (Mhor Dhona has plenty of +1-SR shouts on my server), DF and suck it up.

If not then pray you get a tank who isn't like me .

Well thank god my main's a tank and my FC has enough members for in-house runs.

That's how you run WP . Of course that is with good group , most DF groups aren't that good so you would have to break it down into smaller pulls . But the concept remains the same .

There is no gear check for WP and Ive seen some amazingly badly geared DPS who really have no business in WP , Im talking about guys who don't even have the lvl 55 quest armor , might as well be playing nakid and fail to kill 2nd boss if they make it that far.

When the tank mentions if we are doing a speed run I usually do a quick assessment and my usual answer is no (no BLM in the group, or not geared enough).

Also most of the time, the tank will look at me, think WHM and pull up to the second room and then wonder why I am not casting Holy, and why I have a fairy around me.

Oh and usually the tanks that do that are in hoplite or lower gear and quit after the first pull when they die in horrible pain (I think my fairy stops healing the tank and starts attacking the tank instead out of spite for making everybody else loose their time -_-).

Also to the people trying to use the argument "The game has been out of almost 3 months now, everybody should be geared enought to do DF Speed runs" clearly are in error. People plays at different pace, for instance I am playing more now then when I was a student at the University mostly because I have more free time at the moment, hence the reason why I am full DL on 2 jobs already but I was playing this game 2 years ago I would actually be stuck at part DL gear while I had to study like mad for an exam.

have always prefer wp for tomes farming
as a tank i always check gear before moving on, if they have the guns I assume we can declare war.
I know how many mobs i can handle, most of the times others will pull some more, and thats good.
I enjoy the challenge, either if each dps gets one mobs each, or 2 blms nuke it all, ive tanked it.
thats how i measure how good im( the gear doesnt makeme good)
Its interesting to see how others react to the pulls, healer just spamming heals, dps taking on toberrys before the pugils ,when screw driver
can be such a treat.
so, some prefer to run with their on groups and do it all the same every time.
not me i dont wanna feel like a bot.
I prefer to do things different, so what if we die, do we lose exp??
