I'm getting these errors every time I start the launcher. I saw some people suggest changing a file in the document/my game/ ffxiv folder from 0 to 1 and that didn't help at all. I'm now at a lost.

I'm having the same issue as well. I had it last week too, but it magically started working again. Hopefully it will do the same again.
So far the best solution anyones come up with for this one is to system restore to a time that it was working.

It looks like the "fix" people are having the most luck with is a system restore. I've looked through probably 10 of these same posts and have found no official support, and have been having the same error on and off my self.
Something else that was worked for me once, is running CC Cleaner.
But yeah, this situation is pretty depressing and discouraging.
agh I did end up system restoring and that did work. This sucks
That's an old bug that has been around since the Beta - the cause is actually your version of Internet Explorer not being up to date (the launcher uses IE as a shell to function - it's essentially a webpage). There were several work arounds to fixing the issue, but the main fix was to simply update your version of Internet Explorer to at least version 9. Updating Windows was also a recommendation from SE themselves during the beta too to fix this issue.
I have everything up to date and even tried resetting IE to its defaults, just in case. But no luck. Maybe I'm too far ahead!
Honestly I don't see a likeable fix to this any time soon. The thing that worked for me was system restore.
I have had the EXACT same problem with the launcher. I have been looking around and tried all of the methods such as System Restore, changing the values of EULA agreement to 1 and other stuff. The only solution for me was going to: Control Panel>Programs and Features>View installed Updates>Uninstall your latest Internet Explorer update. Restart the computer and it should work, apparently Explorer 10 and 11 has some bugs with the launcher so if you uninstall the update it should downgrade/rollback your explorer browser to 9 (which it did for me).
None of my recent updates are labeled well. They all just call them selves "Update for Microsoft Windows" blabla. And are from the 17th, and the issue started the 23rd. What a headache.
Has any new fixes for this been found? System restore didn't work for me.
