If you don't wanna hear it, you can turn down that sound effect in your options.

Great workaround, we can just kill all the sound effects in the game to get rid of a single particularly annoying one.

Anyway, I agree with the OP. To be honest it's not really the sound itself that's the issue, it *sounds* fine. It's more that it seems to play twice as loud as any other one. Combined with the fact that this is basically playing every 7.5 seconds, it can get pretty grating.
