Garuda is a bad example as she doesn't summon egis, she summons sisters. Been doing so since 1.0. And, really, they had to make the extreme primals harder somehow. I mean, Ifrit has a nail orgy and does the area burning circles more often. Titan, made harder, could only be to have a little mini-me running around.

Yes... I can get past the fact that they're floating/miniature/have no legs... but that glow... ugh.

Make them solid color and a little bigger and they'd look almost as cool as the Carbuncle.

I do agree with the OP on this one. I don't mind that the egi's look the way they are. However, it's the fact that in the Titan fight, the clone in Titan EX is Egi size AND looks like Titan...

I rather have the Titan that looks like Titan.

People who thought summons in XI blocked your screen are completely delusional. They were far less obtrusive than BLMs casting flare or WHMs casting holy or medica.

I'm sorry but when you are making iconic classes and then go and add in cheap summon models instead of the real thing, its just sad. At least match what you did in FFXI.

Some people are just droning sycophants who just blindly repeat "The status quo is perfect." like a mantra. The same people who say "Egis cant be bigger, they'd block the screen!" also claim there's nothing wrong with animation/flash spam in large scale events. If Yoshi-P in the next Live Letter said he changed his mind and was making Egis into scaled down version of the Primals, these same people would also change their mind on the issue.

The Egis look pretty bad. Last time I said this, mod deleted my message. So I guess I'll just say it again: they're dumb. They're terrible. They're... amusing and cartoony.
