    Hey, I'm home now!

Right if you go to My Computer - C: - Program Files - SquareEnix - Final Fantasy XIV.

    You'll notice a boot.ver and a game.ver.

If you right click these and select Edit, it should open them via Notepad.
If not you will need to select open then scroll down in the list to Notepad.

When it opens in notepad you will notice there is a date value. Without changing too much change them both to 2010.09.19.0000, hit save or ctrl and S and try boot it up again.

    ****NOTE****

Make sure you copy and paste the contents of both these files in a wordpad or something just in case something goes wrong, it will save you having to reinstall the whole thing again.

I also read up that once you've done this, if it crashes at 100% it indicates that files are fully installed.
