CONSOLE GAMES ARE NOT ABOUT GEAR GRINDING AND ARE ABOUT GREAT STORYLINE CONTENT
Every offense intended, you are the exact type of person I want out of this genre of gaming.where did this retarded way of thinking come from ... is it from all the final fantasy console players that think this is the same??? newsflash for all of you obvious new to mmo players ... yeah.. that was in january 2012, a month after the game's release... I honestly don't get these posts. you find them on this forum too. so, they think something was fixed and write that in the patch notes. then on the live servers they realise it's not actually fixed and they 'fix' it again... sometimes I wonder if people really don't know how complicated a game code can really be or if they are really all gaming programmers themselves, because MMO forums are surely full of them
edit:
before you say anything, my SWTOR guild has a habit if excusing everything, bugs, glitches, you name it with 'bioware spaghetti code', so I do make fun of bugs myself, but bugs in MMOs happen. some get fixed, some never do. while I never played it myself, i know from friends that there's still certain bugs in WOW to be find that the game has carried around for 10 years. and that's my experience with pretty much all MMOs I've ever played... bugs are 'fixed' and all of a sudden, a year later, they reappear. (in SWTOR's case that would be the 'ops chat not working in warzones' bug for example that makes a reappearance every once in a while, but thankfully can be easily counter-measured by resetting the UI)
I'm actually pretty positively surpised how little bugs there are in ARR and I don't think I've seen anything 'game breaking', but on a grand scale I'd rather take some buggy content than bots everywhere and even gil stolen - or people's accounts being blocked forever because they supposedly were caught hacking/gil-farming/gil-selling...

Crystal Tower update is probably an executive decision seeing that the majority of the players are still struggling in coil turn1/2 or perhaps not even geared enough to enter coil in the first place. Isn't it a good idea to always cater to the majority?
As for the rest of us... leveling other jobs are contents too, get 19/19!

Nah, I'm going to go with its your crappy taste in games. I think you'd probably get a kick out of Korean Grinders to be honest. Theyre no-nonsense gear grinding kings.
MMOs pretty much began with the idea of being a large online RPG, complete with compelling story and other elements people came to enjoy from RPGs. This current era of shovel-wear cashgrabs that plague the MMO market are entirely because of people like you who much prefer the lazy, unimaginative babies-first-mmo mindset that makes sure you don't have to work your brains too hard.

Actually MMOs didn't start off as end-game gear grinds, they started off as day 1 ridiculous exp grinds. In many ways though, those day 1 exp grinds had so much more of a journey/experience than the endgame raiding gear treadmill that MMOs have become today...
