    Two SCH/SMN Pet ideas.

I haven't really played summoner so not sure if these really pertain to summoner.

A camp command. Tell your pet where to go, it stays there, and returns there after a knockback or whatever.

A mode called Standby, whose behavior would be like Guard but be based on whether or not your weapon was drawn.

Running with the tank? Disengage, putting your book away and pet behaves. Ready to fight, Engage, and pet goes to town.

Shield Lob (Can change red text to Tomahawk and it will work perfectly Warriors)
    /macroicon "Shield Lob"
    /ac "Shield Lob" <t>
    /marking attack1 <t>

Better "macro switching", give it a read: http://tinyurl.com/ffxivhotbars

IMO, your "camp" idea is how the current "Place" should work, since you have to specify an area and kinda makes sense that you would want your pet to return there.

That standby idea is pretty neat and would help with those leves where you gotta pacify an enemy.

No thoughts or replies? Tbh, I play on an xbox controller, and pet management is a bit of pita atm. I know changes are coming but I was thinking how convenient such a feature would be.

I'll show you a SS of my cross-bar for SCH once I get home. It's pretty comfortable.
