Game is treating me like i am a new user

I decided to log on a few minutes ago and the game treated me like I was a new user.
By this i mean it took me back to the screen where it asks me i have a square account or not.

So I checked mognet and everything was fine. I bought 180 days after my free month was over a while back and it still shows me as having a character on mognet.

I then chose the option that was for signing in with my square account but not having a service account with FF XIV on the game thinking once i sign in everything would be ok.

So I sign in and get into the game and press start and it plays the opening movie as if it is still my first time on. after the movie finishes my character appeared like usual and I was able to get in game.
My HUD layout was changed backed to default along with my chat settings though.
Also my gear sets are gone too.

This isn't a big problem but it would be annoying this starts happening alot
Anyone else having this problem?
