BLM's Losing Flare> Convert> Flare

There is no bug with flare, swift cast, convert, flare, transpose. They are not changing this combo of ours and our ability to do this every 3 min. What they are fixing is the fact that We can swift cast, flare, transpose/umbral, flare, (free mana tick), flare, transpose, flare, (free mana tick), flare, until the thing is dead. It isn't a significant increase in dps so don't concern yourself with this fix. Get your facts right before your QQ please OP.

Seriously? So what if we were able to cast flare twice in a row. I'd call it even for the fact we can't even move when spell casting like all the melee dps, or BRD. Not to mention they want to take away the one part that makes a BLM feel like a BLM with it's destructive power.

While we focused on buffing the melee DPS classes/jobs for this patch, we do not have any plans to buff the black mage job. On a side note, there was a bug that caused players to be able to use flare twice in a row, but that will be addressed.

Why thehell do you ask for confirmation, when all you did was make assumptions based on nothing but "Yoshi said there is a bug with BLM using 2 Flares"...

People told you what the bug was...and it clearly is the more obvious "real bug" than just using Convert and Flare again...so you better get confirmation for your assumption before spreading BS.

poor op.. i wont add more to the fire. but ill just say, using a pot to cast another flare, is not a bug, using convert to cast another flare is not a bug. I doubt Yoshi is dumb to be like yerr derrr dem blm cannot du 2 flares wit covert or a mana plot cuz dats a bug deerrr i dont kneo how to mak a garm. Seriously op you didnt think this out at all, you never went to the Dps fourms and check out what blm have been doing to double flare /without/ convert or a mana pot? n if your wondering an elixier and up can give you enough mana for a flare.
