I agree, casual players shouldn't be getting their own content square should just release Coil DF mode and make it 75% easier and drop ilvl89 gear. Afterall everyone on wow thinks that was a wonderful idea.

At the end of the day I want to wish you a congrats on your victory in Coil and I do see why you are mad just try and look a bit further ahead. CT will mean two things for the hardcore community, 1) They can actually push the difficulty of hardcore content even further without the stress that casuals won't be happy that all endgame content will be inaccessable and 2) This will make gearing other jobs more enjoyable. You might not enjoy having multiple classes but please do understand that it is actually a major part of the final fantasy franchise ever since three.

From what I understand development will be in 2 different tiers example. 2.0, 2.2, 2.4... Hardcore community content whilst 2.1, 2.3, 2.5 will be focused on casual content, thus both sides of the playerbase will have something to do without the other being forgotten.

Also please note that blizzard has also adopted a similiar model example, 5.0, 5.2, 5.4 - Raid content whilst 5.1 and 5.3 were simply casual content patches.

Just try to see it from both sides perspective. wish you the best in your gaming adventures, no matter where they may ake you!
