This is what happens when you advertise a major feature for over a year then don't complete it on time so you rush the rest of the game and take out the incomplete part, then months later add it back in the place it was supposed to go in regards to content well after a lot of people already cleared the higher content.

nothing come... well 4 fight in extrem mode that look really really painfull, a whole new raid for 24 player, 3 new dungeon at 4, pvp, housing, treasure hunting, a lot of improvement for quality of life (like the fact that dungeon will become the best option for level up or the duty finder roulette), king mog and whatever they haven't show us already...

Content is not only high end game raid... if you look for a game that only care for the hardcore game i will simply say this: good luck to find one... Hard core gamer are a small portion of the player base...and even if they try to satisfy them (extrem mode) they are never happy.

you dont even understand what the OP is getting at .. for some reason you think he and other hardcore players are saying PATCH NEEDS TO BE 100 PERCENT PROGRESSIVE !! .... not at all hes saying theres should be something progressive not all

the whole 2.1 2.3 2.5 casual 2.2 2.4 2.6 hardcore format is completely retarded and SE needs to hire new people if they think its a good idea ... each patch should contain ALL ELEMENTS .... why add 3 extremes ... 1 new primal .. 1 new raid zone 2 new hard dungeons at ALL LOWER TIER .... makes no sense .... MAKE SOMETHING PROGRESSIVE

simply put patches should = some new content for everyone casuals / raiders / crafters / gatherers PERIOD!

When you talk do you hear the words you are saying, or do you put your fingers in your ears and shout? There is no difference in what SE is doing and what you want.
What you want is "everyone get's crumbs at the same time"
What SE are doing "every time one side gets a quarter of the cake"
In the end both will get the same amount of cake.

Needles to say the current scheduled is temporary at best, sooner or later SE will have to decide on an identity... the current middle road will end quick!

I guess I'm not as disappointed as other hardcore/semi-hardcore players cause I pretty much expected this patch to be more on the casual side(though I'm hoping there's a really good PVP community...or even that PVP is worth it in general). And tbh, this game is in dire need of other activities both on the dungeon running side as well as time wasting activities(crossing my fingers for treasure hunting to be fun). Though I am pretty surprised by how low the item level requirements are for CT, the new dungeon, and kinda not expecting extreme primals to be super hard either since people running Coil now probably outgear it already.

That said I'll probably spend a month and a half or so getting all the housing stuff, yelling at FC members about their poor decorating tastes, and see how long 2.1 amuses me before I wonder if I should keep playing.

Edit: Also you know what's the most hilarious part of all of this? Hardcore raiders are calling things like Extreme Primals casual content while more casual players are calling things like Extreme Primals elitist raider content. Sometimes you really need to look at the whole picture when it comes to mentality of players and have a laugh.

Redoing this game was a huge undertaking. Crystal Tower was suppose to be in the game at launch. They just didn't make it and had to cut it from launch. Crystal tower is suppose to be the dungeon between Darklight Armor and IL90 Gear from AF 1.5/BCB (allagan).

They are merely catching up. Content will be on track in the right order once they have caught up and 2.1 comes out.

You might be above CT atm, but tons of players are still farming IL90 gear and the CT gear will find a home in their accessory slots, Belt, etc etc w/e they are missing and it will make BCB a little bit easier to clear from gearing through it.

I understand your points, but fact is, they are catching up with something that got cut from launch. To be expected imo. Yet everyone is all butt sore about it. Go ahead and cancel your sub, we'll see you in 6 months after 2.2. etc is out and the game has more content in the right order.
