    How about AOE cones for AOE spells and abilities?

    Would it be possible to to give us green circles/cones on the ground that shows the area of effect for our spells? Like for example healing spells could have a green circle so that everyone knows they need to run into it for health and purple circles for black mage AOE spells so we can see their actual area of damage?

    What's everyones thoughts on this? Hardly ever use cureIII because I'm just not sure how big the circle is and its 500MP, it would be a huge waste of mp if it didn't get everyone I needed to fill HP.

    Other times maybe blm are unsure about range of sleepga or their massive damage aoe spells. Can help tanks congregate mobs better for these.

    I think green circles for healer AOE's would help ALOT to get people to move closer for healing spells or to just in general let them know where they need to be.

    I dunno, Wildstar does something like this with their telegraph system (basically and extended version of ARR's red circles/cones on the ground, with a much larger variety of shapes and such) which will show telegraphs for harmful abilities, helpful abilities, and attacks from your teammates. A lot of the gameplay footage can look extremely cluttered and busy with telegraphs covering the ground all over the place, making it difficult to distinguish what or who they belong to. Guild Wars 2 suffered from this issue a bit too, with circles all over the damn place especially in WvW, yet you couldn't really turn them off because they were so important.

    I feel like it'd also kinda ruin some of the aesthetic of the game. The telegraphs sorta work for Wildstar because they fit in with the futuristic/sci-fi theme but even the red AoE circles in ARR can look out of place. Having green and blue circles all over the place would be even worse.

    I think I'd prefer some sort of range display on the party list, or at least some way to tell if a player is within range of my spells without me having to click them, attempt a cast, and receive an error.
