    Is it possible to get a name change?

    I regret making a female character with a female name, and even though I have a Fantasia potion to turn male, my character name wouldn't match up and it would look wrong.
    Does anyone know if Square Enix provides character name changes? Has anyone gotten one before? I really want to change my character name, or else I'd have to restart and make a new character.

    I think I remember reading a community rep post in a thread saying they would like to add the option, I don't think it will be soon though.

    As of now there is no way to have your name changed - but there have been a lot of requests for it. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw something in the nearish future.

    It will take some time however just server transfer to another server doesn't matter which. Then make a character with your name on your server then transfer back. It will force you to change your name.

    They stated that the chance there is someone with your exact name the person on the server you are transferring to gets to keep the name and you will be prompted to change yours. I was debating on doing this but I didn't want to waste the money on it. Pro Healer is just an epic name and my friend was going to change his to Pro Tank

    Jeez, that's a lot. I guess there aren't free transfers anymore? (or if there ever was, but I assume there was bc of the server issues on launch day)
