    i wouldnt wait on this, it will probably never happen, yoshi had its doubts about letting ppl changing names from 1.0 to 2.0 which is a lot more reasonable than what you are asking.

    just make a new character, you will have it at the same place or close to this one you have if/when they allow to change names.

    They did say they will allow name changes in the future for sure, they are just figuring out how to implement it. Hrvine was the one who said it. Or however its spelled xD
