Seriously, join a good FC. PUG's are ridiculous AND the added benefit of an FC is if you're ever having problems with something else or have questions there are people around who can answer. I was thinking of quitting FFXIV after free play time expired, but I found an awesome FC with people who actually made the game 1000X more enjoyable. The game is so much better when you're playing with friends!
