So, no use getting hot and bothered about it dropping lvl90 weapons. I mean, is a fresh 50 gonna go in there with 2.8k health and beat a extreme mode? Unless it can be done with 7 people and one tanking the ground I doubt.... Why? I'm not talking about people dodging skills or doing of mechanics. If that's all it was, healers would have nothing to do with people who know how to dodge(and have no lag...). But there are always mechanics that do damage that you can't dodge. And someone with low health/gear isn't going to do it in a extreme mode....

So all of you wanting your "free carry" extreme primal weapon? um no
Isn't HM Titan hard enough for most people? :/ I mean, I found it to be a pain it the butt my first go. Oh and if you were spoiled like me and did it as a tank, then decided to go get a dps/heal relic later.... HAHA you now have to learn the fight again.. ; ;

What did you expect? That you'd go get your relic +1 and be able to strut around until End of Service with the absolute best in slot? Have you even played an MMO before? Yep there were so many "Elite Statues" standing around in cities with their weapon drawn all day. Show offs!

Well anything that devalues their achievements is fine by me! Even a casual like me has a relic

The extreme primal fights will be dropping ilvl90 weapons...for some reason I don't know why. A. If your doing extreme then you beat Titan already and have a relic. B. if your doing extremes then you prob already have the +1 relic...what the hell are the extreme primal weapons for then if we already have a weapon equal to it going in? (Unless everyone greeds because the need job has it already).

Alt jobs and possibly appearance reasons. Not having to get a relic +1 for alt jobs that I have to bring into coil means I can gear my main or that alt in myth much sooner.

I don't understand the hate here. People have been clamouring for 'custom appearance' since the beginning, mostly for vanity slots but it's effectively the same. Here we are, vanity weapons that are actually useful replacements for upgraded relics, and more complaining? So there's going to be weapons that are on par with relics, this is great! If they look different from their lesser versions, even better! Why the rage?

Where has theat been confirmed? If that is what the Extreme Primals are dropping that is complete crap and why would you even do them then excetp to get a bad ass weapon for your alts and skip their Relic Quests??? I hope this is not true...please say this is not so.

sorry but yea, considering the mechanics for this fights are more difficult than say HM Titan that people say is hard. I really doubt people will skip things.... yet
Until 7 people can do it with one hugging the floor, then will come people offering to sell runs.... :3

Doesn't seem to mean that they are dropping i90 weapon to me, more like if you beat all three then you get ONE weapon. Is that sequence of event repeatable, I guess it won't, we'll see.

Seriously, Titan being sold/bought isn't "devaluing" your relic status. The quest chain can be completed in under a day by people who know what they're doing and have even a semi-competent group to play with. If Titan couldn't be purchased, you'd still have tons of relics out there because of the crazy speed at which you can complete the chain.

FFXIV is for the masses not the elitist. Currently anyways. There is nothing in the game the causal player can't get with time.

Item level requirements are coming in 2.1 if im not mistaken, so fresh 50 wont be participating in any extreme primal fights anyway
