Relics , are not relices anymore

To be honest they added relics way too early or should have atleast tied it to coil, were now in a situation were they either drop relics all together or every other patch add a way to +1 it constantly (if they want to keep relics BiS).

Personally I would rather they just drop the idea all together, the idea of a relic weapon doesnt fit well in a game where gear progression is the thing its based on.

To be fair, WAR Relic +1 was still not as good as Allagan if you needed +Acc. PLD can use either and be fine, and most use Curtana. WAR have to decide between +Parry or +Accuracy. :/ Now that choice just got easier.

Well at least with relic with some time and effort you get a decent weapon without having to worry about mindlessly farming primals and depending on RNG.

I still think my relic is relic. Just because everyone may have one doesn't have to devalue it. I worked hard for mine, and I still value them more than any primal/coil drop I've gotten.

I think is all about casual vs hardcore player. You can get relic +1 just with tomes it takes 3 weeks. But hardcore players can go to extreme primals and get it much faster.

You are wrong in every way.

1. Relics must not be anything you say they should.

2. Relic and Allagan weapons are same ilvl for now.

3. How will ilvl 80 moogle weapons ever be better than one you can make ilvl 90?

SE will probably make a retarded hard quest to make relics +2,3,4 ect at some point instead of just needing myth tomes. Pretty sure their not gonna just leave it like this...hopefully anyway *optimistic* XD

If you also want to talk ease of getting the "relic" weapons look at FF3 (put this in because CT will be out soon) all you had to do was really do. A little quest and fight a boss which by that point is easy to get the ultimate weapon then it's as simple as max out a job to 99 and free max weapon for that job.

So by Yoshi saying he's going back to the roots, if you look at almost every FF game the ultimate weapons are pretty easy to get.
