Is it just me or does BLM need a buff? Need confirmation if I am right with this.

My coil group is PLD, WAR, DRG, BRD, BRD, BLM (me), WHM, SCH. Its as diverse as the "its a small world" attraction at Disney Land. Even with the caster/physical restrictions on turn 4, we manage to crush it week in and week out.

Also, on turn 2, you can be the relay man in the allagan rot chain by teleporting the rot from person 4 to person 1. Granted after the first rot rotation, its not necessary (due to temporary immunity), but its still really fun, looks cool, and makes you feel like a badass.

There is one thing I wish it'd get changed.
Firestarter procs- I just hate it when it procs and I'm mid cast of already another spell.

BLM is fine, wait until cast times drop under 2ish seconds and even moving after the 1st cast second wont interrupt you

I don't really have any advice because blm rotation is pretty much the same for everyone, it just comes down to feeling blm as a part of you.

I was invited to the coils group im in because i know how to play my class well and it seems the group was hellbent on wanting a blm in their group. There seems to be a very high demand for us n we will see how even more it is when we get more utility per what was mentioned today.

I'm actually swapping out one of the dps in my coil group for a BLM. They have great dps and their skills are really useful for their own potential survivability. I have a relic BLM as my secondary class and am pretty happy with the skill set.

They do fine DPS (and are sneaky survivable too). But imagine if they had a little bit of utility outside of just in Coil/primals?
Like a silence/stun

Or just make sleep useful there, I suppose.

Whenever I Coil with a blm, it's 200+ dmg. When they can AoE, it just gets crazy... Looks fine if you'd ask me.
