Gotta know where to stand when to move when the bombs appear, where to tank him in phase 5 when to pp your CDs in said phase, its alot more work then people let on, though it is still alot easier then dodging everything.
The point of lying is there are loads of people who will leave a group as soon as they know there is someone new in the group. Yes it shouldn't be like this, what should be happening is people who queue for DF shouldn't care who they get but we need to adapt (if no one says anything then just don't mention a lack of exp.)
I know its a few weeks off, but when the advanced duty finder is implemented you will be able to get grouped with folks in your situation. You won't have to worry about people giving you crap for being a rookie.
Welcome to endgame my friend. Where lies, deceit and a poor disposition will get you further than honesty, empathy and being a good person.
Nah, truthfully, you're a tank. If your gear is good you can get away with lying because tanks in titan literally stand and have to dodge one thing (bombs). You don't even have to worry too much about your cooldowns until you start getting hit with mountain buster in the final phase.
G, Unfortunately, gamers have changed, they just want to burn through everything! - I mean its a mmo ffs, be a community, not selfish a holes, cuz if you are, no one really cares about your gear cuz you have no friends so why bother lol - <3 to the plyrs who fight the good fight!
You can sum it up like this but the truth of it is not everyone has unlimited play time to teach every random person how to do titan. The ppl who leave instantly are usually ones who have lost to titan hundreds of times. I dont mind wiping a few times so someone can learn the fight but I dont expect everyone to be patient about it every time.G, Unfortunately, gamers have changed, they just want to burn through everything! - I mean its a mmo ffs, be a community, not selfish a holes, cuz if you are, no one really cares about your gear cuz you have no friends so why bother lol - <3 to the plyrs who fight the good fight!
Gaming has changed.
People not only want content faster, but also complete it asap.
Tbh, the players(community) will never make an MMO, they are only here to destroy one.
In the time it takes to wipe 100 times to Titan they could have found at least 5 friendly and competent FCs/linkshells to fight it with. You can sum it up like this but the truth of it is not everyone has unlimited play time to teach every random person how to do titan. Rule n°1 of the Duty Finder: you make do with what you get, period.
This +1. Don't lie. Don't say its your first time. Don't say anything. Just go there, tank or not, and gather experience. Group will disband at some point because you WILL fail. Doesn't matter. Go back, do it again. DF is not to kill but to practice. When you have the xp through this, look for shouts and you'll be able to honestly say you have xp.Dont say anything and sacrifice other people's time for your trial and error learning process. For the first half of the fight, it's on the rest of the party to perform before it's your turn to really act on the stage. Even then it's a minor part. What's important is how shiny your costume is. If the party gets jeered off the stage before the 2nd half, then it's not your problem and you still get to experience it.
I'm serious here.
