Well, that's not really what I meant. When they talked about getting the Sirius gear for vanity I immediately thought of how ugly and uninteresting the drops from AK and WP are. I'm kind of hoping they'll do better this time but I'm not too sure.

Also I'm far from an endgame player by the OP's definition, just going with the flow here.


On the other hand, I'll definitely need to get myself a full battlemage outfit before update 2.2.

Haha same, I loved that outfit for the 6 or so levels I could rock it on my WHM. Also, I wonder what the restrictions on which items can be worn as vanity.. I personally loved like the level 23 whites that are tank gear.

I do believe that the last I heard vanity shifting could be done pending on having the same class restrictions (IE, no tank gear on healer, presumably no heavy plate on lancer, but scalemail on tank)

You forgot to mention the release date of the patch. I believe it is Dec. 17.

I would have preferred it a little more towards the 10th but if everything works fine in the patch we should be able to play it over the holidays fairly smoothly and if anything does go wrong, it can be looked at prior to the holidays. In the past, other MMOs have released it pretty much on Christmas week and the gameplay was unbearable and couldn't be looked at till after the first of January and then when it was finally looked at it would be fixed days after.

Does no one ever just play games for fun anymore?
Seems to me like everyone is only concerned about raising their ilvls instead of just playing and enjoying what the game offers.

Personally, I look forward to everything in 2.1, with PvP being lowest on my priority list XD

Fun to me is trying to achieve something , what isnt fun for me is killing something or running threw the same content over and over and gaining absolutly nothing .. thats NOT fun
Why do people think that gearing up an alt is considered FUN for everyone fact is its not ... Just because theres alot of us that actually want to progress and to (dare i say it) gain something from our efforts doesnt mean we dont want to have fun , we just dont want to waste our time with pointless content.

2.1 in my opinion doesnt offer 1 thing for people that are already coil geared and that is a HUGE mistake by SE and will lead to alot of people taking time off from their subs ... whether the game recovers for 2.2 we will see

I'll admit that i'm genuinely more excited for 2.1 than I was before.

Extreme primals are actually going to be worth time. + Challenge of doing them will be fun
Ultima Weapon hard/extreme YES!
CT is useless - Really sad such an iconic dungeon is going to be a pile of wank
