Yup. 900 myth wasted. I should have bough myth pants, if i knew relic+1 was going to be 90 crap. 90 gear will comes from other content during 2.1

aka a common weapon, on par with a primal extreme weapon on DF. one more reason to save us the hassle to upgrade the relic (or even do it at all? ) . No thanks

I literally finished 2 Relics of mine in 2 1/2 hours doing all except Titan with PUGS, including finding groups, waiting for them to be ready etc etc. You are just one of those lazy mofos who waits for a PT to be almost done and grab a spot...I'm one of those who starts a PT by himself and gets people so I don't waste my time waiting for something that might not happen.

p.s. i was one of the first worldwide doing relic server raids, grouping with JP players led by me, the guy organizing those runs (chimera, hydra) and members asking why the hell i was doing those raids and what was the reward, let's not mention eng players with 0 idea of what a relic quest was ( Good old days )
Mind me, i group with JP players, and nowadays nearly everyone eng on Ifrit moved out during free transfer

You can easily tell who's an "elitist" in this thread whining that their Allagan (if they actually have one) weapon is the same as a Relic +1.

To be honest I really don't care, 1 is achieved in spending over a months work and doing various different tasks, and the other is achieved after beating a single run of Turn 5.

YES the Relic +1 is easier to acquire but it requires more TIME AND EFFORT to get it! If you "elitists" are crying about this because your T5 Weapon is the same as a Relic +1 and you want a couple stats boosted in order to feel 'better' than everyone else then that's just sad...

I can just see it in now... "LFM CT Speedrun MUST HAVE Allagan Wep or kick"

EDIT: Just wait for AF2 gear to be released, there will be "elitists" crying for centuries because it'll have better stats than Allagan.

After watching a few videos you can clear it in around an hour, yes it's harder but ultimately you can get Allagan Weapons much faster.

There's a reason why People were getting Relics in the first week and Turn 5 was cleared 2 months after.
With your logic right after you get your titan weapon or Relic then you should be able to clear turn 5 within an hour right?

uh... something tells me it's gonna be weapons only. for bards at least i don't think you can even reach the ACC cap with allagan alone. they'd have to redo itemization

it doesnt have to be best all stat because its higher ilvl.

This is what I'm talking about. Hanabira keeps saying Coil is the path that requires more effort to get the better gear, and it's really not.

my alt char will be able to buy mytho gear by the end of week.
all it'll have done endgame is 30WP, and never step into AK/HMprimals/chim, hydra.
Do you think I made as much effort on this char than anybody runing coil?

So what's the point of making a relic?

Relics are lv 80 as Moogle weapons (seriously, 5 bosses+1dungeon+money to get a relic, 1 boss to get a moogle weapon)
Relics+1 are inferior to allagan weapon even if it takes 3 weeks to make one.

what's the point? why should i bother farming tokens? also twintania doesn't even require lv90 gear (and CT will give us a lot of lv80 gear)

good luck getting your allagan weapon without relic+1.
people say you don't need 90gear to beat twintania, but i dont think a full group of full 70gear/80weapon can kill it.
why bother farming allagan stuff since most likely anything in 2.2 will be doable with mytho gear/relic+1

How does it screw up a bis list? You're taking some of those pieces because of accuracy right? 5 ilvls extra for allagan gear isn't going to change the fact that you still need accuracy to hit things, those pieces with acc on them will continue to be better because of the acc whether they are ilvl 95 or 90. Just because the gear may be changing to 95 doesn't mean everyone needs to be an ilvl hero and take every higher ilvl pieces just to increase their epeen when in reality they are severely gimping themselves due to secondary stats.

If your current BiS gear is caping Acc and the upgrade give you 10extra acc it's no longer BiS because you can trade 10 acc for better stat on other slots.
Also BiS set with relic+1 might not be the same than BiS set with allagan weapon if they dont have the same acc

This might not apply to DPS or Healing classes. But for a Tank the higher itemlvl is gonna make the difference. I will take a few more VIT on my PLD over any Accuracy any day. If I don't keep my T5 cap I can live with missing one hit out of 100. But 2-3more VIT on body pieces is enough for me to take Allagan over AF2 in any slot(not counting accessories).

-miss an early enmity move => DD/healer might get enmity.
-miss a stun/silence move => someone might die from dmg that should have been prevented/got para'ed while trying to run out of AoE= way worse then your 1% lower maxHP

Looked at your lodestone, you have ZERO Allagan LOL.

I can make a relic in 2 hours, + 1 in an easy 3 weeks.

You on the other hand haven't even cleared TURN 1.

Go try making a group that can clear Twintania, not counting all of the replacements from people that aren't good enough or rage quit. I promise you it will be at least double that.

You haven't even cleared a single turn, you don't have the credentials to compare the "Time and effort".
