Allagan Gear getting buffed to ilvl95.

A: your group (except you) got his 95 weapon. They should pwn , because skilled and and wearing an uber weapon.
The 8th, a crapper (probably even dead waiting the end) wearing garuda clearly find himself winning and opening the box (RNG on his side), his weapon pops. Such a worthy player

B: Idiots locking out victims (we have a thread about it, did you read it? )

C: It's easy to post when you're part of a core group for coil, running every turn every week. Try to be kicked out of that core group, then post again. Good luck with random pugs

D: As you said, a worthy player may desire to get a ilvl95 weapon. So relic weapon, do all those server raids (chimera, hydra), beat all elementals (titan , wasting days to find a good group) was just a waste of time?

The consequence of D, as you can easily imagine will be: noone will run his relic hassle anymore, garuda weapon, 500k gil to a group with 95 weapon selling runs, and you're done (DL armor+ garuda is more than enough , when you know what to do on twintania and everyone is wearing a lvl95 weapon, skilled on that fight )

Can you see now how the game turns to junk?

Except that no group will be able to carry anyone on Twintania for quite a while(maybe even til 2.2) so all your points are invalid. Most groups who actually beat Twintania have Relic+1...itemlvl90. Itemlvl95 won't magically erase the neccesitty of a "good 8th" person.

All you basically proven with your post is that you don't have the slightest idea about Twintania and that you seriously think 7 itemlvl95 people can carry a DL/Garuda Weap person with ease...

I do all my stuff with my FC...I have a static for Coil and I do Relic related stuff usually with PUGs til Garuda/Titan, then I do the rest with my FC. I finished some of my Relics in one day, doing every single fight with PUGS except for Titan. Titan is not a hard encounter, it's a movement check and as in most MMORPGs majority sucks at just playing good in general.

PS: If any FC would be able to carry a person through Twintania which I can assure you, nobody can as of this moment and nobody will be able to anytime soon...they would charge 5M, not 500k...
And no I don't see how the game would be broken all of a sudden...cause itemlvl95 weapon doesn't make you a god...people like you should be happy that you even get a Relic that easily. IMO the Relic shouldn't be rewarded until Turn1/2 in Coil. Let's how all of you would fare in Coil if you would have to farm Garuda/Titan for weeks to get your desired weapon just to do "bare minimum of damage" in Coil 1/2 to then get your Relic.

Relics are thrown at people as it is right now...so don't even try to sell Relic as an accomplishment...but of course only an accomlpishment when you did it with PUGs...get over yourself. If you are unhappy about Titan groups you joined, start your own and kick people when they suck and look for other ones til you get a whole group together that can pull it off.

Or even worse...try to make friends...try to get to know people you know are good players and you actually like...maybe...just maybe if they like you too they would help on Titan and stuff...

Relic+1 and allagan 95 are both hard tasks. They must be on par as 95, period.

p.s. Bad news, i did twintania, and a skilled group with full 90 gear and 95 weapon can cover the 8th guy who bough the run, rezzed by the whm.

Alright i'll try to answer all this.
A: Yes this might happen, people might even sell the run, i wonder which weapon you can get through that method(*hint* starts with r lol)..
Yes i don't like that it's possible to sell gear/runs like that, but that's hardly on topic.
Also not that many people have killed it right now. Not to mention that you can sell 1 weapon-run a week(if it even drops so there's a feasibility problem with the whole concept right there, who'd buy a *CHANCE* for an insane amount) at most so... yeah people will be gearing their fc(will take a big while lol) and then some might sell.

B: Actually haven't so please do link if you don't mind.

C: Well, coil T5 definitely shouldn't be pugged right now that's pretty obvious. Sorry for being redundant but get a FC for that.

D: You need relic to even go into coil(complete the quest anyway), and why do you even need the ilvl 95 right now? When we get content that actually requires something like that(2.2 prob), i bet it'll be waaay easier to get(if their current philosophy is any indicator of the future).

Also and probably most important Allagan weapon is already BIS to some classes(at least).
So at its current state all that you have described would still be possible.
You may have presented some valid issues but they're hardly connected to the increase in ilvl , and its only 5 increase not even THAT much!

If the bump is to be to weapons due to the difficulty of turn five as they are stating than that does raise other questions:

Paladin shield is considered a weapon slot and should have been on Twintania initially anyways and should be bumped up accordingly.

Other non weapon drops that drop off turn 5 like paladin helm, monk chest, etc should be moved to easier tiers if they are only going to upgrade weapons because of the difficulty of twintania

As a BLM should I continue to use Relic+1 even if I had the allagan setup? Even if the stats are buffed(I doubt it will be much), I would still lose the 18 determination that was on my Relic. Not using the highest level weapon you have seems stupid though.

You can easily tell who's an "elitist" in this thread whining that their Allagan (if they actually have one) weapon is the same as a Relic +1.

To be honest I really don't care, 1 is achieved in spending over a months work and doing various different tasks, and the other is achieved after beating a single run of Turn 5.

YES the Relic +1 is easier to acquire but it requires more TIME AND EFFORT to get it! If you "elitists" are crying about this because your T5 Weapon is the same as a Relic +1 and you want a couple stats boosted in order to feel 'better' than everyone else then that's just sad...

I can just see it in now... "LFM CT Speedrun MUST HAVE Allagan Wep or kick"

EDIT: Just wait for AF2 gear to be released, there will be "elitists" crying for centuries because it'll have better stats than Allagan.

There's a reason why People were getting Relics in the first week and Turn 5 was cleared 2 months after.
With your logic right after you get your titan weapon or Relic then you should be able to clear turn 5 within an hour right?
