BEcause they made the AF at 45 useless too..
They should have made it so your AF at 45 upgrades to il90 af 1.5 and that upgrade to af 2. And they should have made it so that AF 1.5 dropped off coil chests via tokens like wow did with tier 8.
This for sure.. I can see a case to be made for left side DRG and MNK to remain separate due to defense modifiers on chain/scale gear vs leather gear. But right side for sure has no business being separate as jewelry has no significant amount of defense on it and both classes are primary STR.
I never implied AF as it is now should be better. What I am saying is we shouldn't get af 1.5 from myth tomes, it should be the other way around. We should get alagan gear from myth tomes and AF 1.5 from tokens that drop in bcb.try enterring CoB with someone that did'nt beat Titan HM (you cant)
this is not WoW
then just need to swap skin and names between alagan and "af1.5"!
there is now way something you can get farming point in the easiest "end game" dungeons should be better than drops from the current hardest content
and get used to the gear you worked hard to get being replaced, it will happen every 1 or2 update
only valide complain is people who passed Allagan because it was not BiS
My reason for this is that to me, my class specific AWESOME looking armor should be the best gear. It's the gear I want to wear.
Or better yet, they should leave AF 1.5 alone and BCB drops alone and add something we can farm from some content (BCB maybe) that let's us upgrade AF 1.5 to AF 2 and is il 100 (no matter how hard said upgrade is to get).

Thank you, much appreciated. I think it is only weapons though, hope I am right.Greetings,
According to the stream, Yoshida did in fact mention this upgrade to item level 95 was to be for Allagan weapons only due to the difficulty of turn 5, whereas the text on the Japanese and English Q&A post indicated equipment in general. Just to be certain, we will double check with Yoshi-P and let you know for sure.
Thanks hope to hear something soon.Greetings,

I am sure they meant that current lvl 90 weapons will be bumped up to 95 so the extreme primal weps can be 90. They obviously believe in the token system, they would not make people's hard work worthless by nerfing myth gear by keeping it at lvl 90 and buffing allagan to 95. That would make no sense what so ever. All end game players would start to look the same in all allagan. Currently, you can mix and match myth and allagan for what you believe is the most optimal and best looking build. It is basically the only way for us to customize our characters end game. It would be incredibly stupid for them to take that away.
Thank for the swift response!Greetings,

Clarification of this would be wonderful.
Which is why it should've been flipped from the start =(
Iconic gear as the hardest to get and BiS. I hope they do that continuing on.
WOOT !! Thx for the response !!!!Greetings,
