Allagan Gear getting buffed to ilvl95.

Aha. I'll give you a better picture:
A: your group (except you) got his 95 weapon. They should pwn , because skilled and and wearing an uber weapon.
The 8th, a crapper (probably even dead waiting the end) wearing garuda clearly find himself winning and opening the box (RNG on his side), his weapon pops. Such a worthy player

B: Idiots locking out victims (we have a thread about it, did you read it? )

C: It's easy to post when you're part of a core group for coil, running every turn every week. Try to be kicked out of that core group, then post again. Good luck with random pugs

D: As you said, a worthy player may desire to get a ilvl95 weapon. So relic weapon, do all those server raids (chimera, hydra), beat all elementals (titan , wasting days to find a good group) was just a waste of time?

The consequence of D, as you can easily imagine will be: noone will run his relic hassle anymore, garuda weapon, 500k gil to a group with 95 weapon selling runs, and you're done (DL armor+ garuda is more than enough , when you know what to do on twintania and everyone is wearing a lvl95 weapon, skilled on that fight )

Can you see now how the game turns to junk?

Alright i'll try to answer all this.
A: Yes this might happen, people might even sell the run, i wonder which weapon you can get through that method(*hint* starts with r lol)..
Yes i don't like that it's possible to sell gear/runs like that, but that's hardly on topic.
Also not that many people have killed it right now. Not to mention that you can sell 1 weapon-run a week(if it even drops so there's a feasibility problem with the whole concept right there, who'd buy a *CHANCE* for an insane amount) at most so... yeah people will be gearing their fc(will take a big while lol) and then some might sell.

B: Actually haven't so please do link if you don't mind.

C: Well, coil T5 definitely shouldn't be pugged right now that's pretty obvious. Sorry for being redundant but get a FC for that.

D: You need relic to even go into coil(complete the quest anyway), and why do you even need the ilvl 95 right now? When we get content that actually requires something like that(2.2 prob), i bet it'll be waaay easier to get(if their current philosophy is any indicator of the future).

Also and probably most important Allagan weapon is already BIS to some classes(at least).
So at its current state all that you have described would still be possible.
You may have presented some valid issues but they're hardly connected to the increase in ilvl , and its only 5 increase not even THAT much!

A, B , C: I got the points you said, people getting screwed , possibility of exploit through sale(which i said is highly unlikely and a bit unfeasible in my eyes at least).
Alas ,as i also am repeating, all of this (which again i believe should be addressed in some ways, some of it at least) is not a problem fabricated through the insertion of allagan ilvl 95, its a problem already HERE.

I got your points as well. I merely told you that your points are all invalid, cause none of your scenarios will happen anytime soon if at all.

So the only thing that really stuck in my head was you QQing for Relic+1 getting upped to itemlvl95 as well, cause you think it is comparable to beating Twintania...and sorry...it's not...not even close.

Doesn't change the fact that Relic+1 is not an accomplishment and shouldn't be itemlvl95 all of a sudden, just cause Allagan weaps are getting upped in 2.1.

PS: One thing that also makes it hard for me to believe that this is a common issue(the dragging innocent people to Turn 5 thing) is...I actually play on the same Server as the OP in that thread...and I don't wanna talk shit about other people but this particular one is an obnoxious loud mouth that prolly put it on himself. I actually did part of his first Relic Quest with him in the group (did Chimera, Hydra and Ifrit with him) and I rarely came across a person that is more annoying and selfish/dumb as he was. Not to mention that all the way to Titan he was wearing itemlvl 45-50 gear...which didn't help his cause to not come across as a selfish prick wanting to be carried.

Belive me or not, it's even widespreading on other servers. I saw friends invited on a pug for coil 3 and 4 (and 5) on other servers, and group leaving at beginning ,locking him out.

Yup. 900 myth wasted. I should have bough myth pants, if i knew relic+1 was going to be 90 crap. 90 gear will comes from other content during 2.1

aka a common weapon, on par with a primal extreme weapon on DF. one more reason to save us the hassle to upgrade the relic (or even do it at all? ) . No thanks

I literally finished 2 Relics of mine in 2 1/2 hours doing all except Titan with PUGS, including finding groups, waiting for them to be ready etc etc. You are just one of those lazy mofos who waits for a PT to be almost done and grab a spot...I'm one of those who starts a PT by himself and gets people so I don't waste my time waiting for something that might not happen.

p.s. i was one of the first worldwide doing relic server raids, grouping with JP players led by me, the guy organizing those runs (chimera, hydra) and members asking why the hell i was doing those raids and what was the reward, let's not mention eng players with 0 idea of what a relic quest was ( Good old days )
Mind me, i group with JP players, and nowadays nearly everyone eng on Ifrit moved out during free transfer
