I dont know, I find the bard to be an excellent support. SE made a great class that has the utility you need in a group. the downside is less damage. however you play a bigger role then just a DPS and the versatility more then makes up for you being a little weaker in DPS. Things like weapon adjustment and changes to mechanics are a bit much. SE's entire goal is to keep the Bard how it is. The bard is actually a perfect example of Support in an MMO, utility at a cost of some DPS, but not stuck just playing support. no matter what they change to cross class skills, every party still wants a bard, they bring a lot to the table.
