Hate to tell you but this is NOT FF XI. Bard is a DPS, support doesn't exist.

And like yoshi says, in endgame everyone takes atleast 1 bard because of how useful they are with songs, ranged silence is also nice.

The Bard is a DPS class with some utility BUT a DPS class.

The other dps doesn't know how to play the class that they chose so nerf bard and the other people will not feel bad anymore >_<

The problem is that we are NOT top dps! We have the lowest dps of all the dps classes. The lowest.
The problem is that a mediocre Bard is not going to have a huge difference in damage with a good Bard.
This thing happens with other dps classes if one Summoner is not doing the correct rotation he can do 200+ dps (one extremely good equipped and in T4) and after fix the rotation he parsed 450 you saw the difference right?
No bard full equipped will parse that number not now, and not in a near future

For this reason they need to make the class more difficult, no a damage nerf. Is not our fault the people that do not know how to play their class

It doesn't even make sense to take away a single cross class skill without taking it away from everyone except the base class.
