Thread: 2.1 Crystal Tower

The whining over this is kind of ridiculous. It's not ideal, but I doubt it's permanent. I'd rather have the dungeon out and play with 8 FC buddies than wait for another two months.

I also wonder if maybe it's 24 man, but you're split up into groups of 8, ala Phoenix Cave from FF6. Theoretically that would be a cool idea, as long as one group wasn't messing up another group's progress in some way. Just spitting ideas.

It isn't permanent. It was specifically said that just for now we won't be able to queue up as 24 people.

Sucks but I am happy there is no lockout like freaking Coil, so I can at least rotate members around.

WHATS the point then ? they dont care about the progression communities in doing that, they need to release it as a 24 man group able to join and enter the instance they are shitting all over the end game players

progression communities have already skipped this content and have always known it would be ilv80 so if they were waiting for this to have something to do and expecting challenges and useful gear they clearly had no clue what has been stated for a long time.

While I am sad, and slightly shocked that we cant run with all our FC at 2.1, if the content does not require it, and is repeatable then there isn't really much of an issue. The only was this will be a huge issue is if 1 group simply cant get past a part and it keeps the other 2 from finishing their bosses and getting their loot (since its chests for each group).

It is a HUGE issue. Despite being iLvL 80, there was a lot of room for itemization in there where despite being 10 iLvL lower, pieces might still be best in slot. The fact that we can't queue together as a FC means this content will not get done by most FCs and we are now hung out to dry without any raid content for a VERY long time.

Disappointing.....

This is heart breaking. My fc runs 6 bcob groups and we have been so looking forward to finally getting to play together. What's the point in 24 man if 16 aren't my friends?

This wouldn't work on Moogle but has any considered going into DF at the same time as your other groups with only "French listed"

Would DF match you together? On the JP cluster since no one picks French under language.
