well can you blame people being mad? really its like some one said before group A is experienced people with lets sayd decked out allagan, who are helping the pts when they can, Group B mediocre group that can get by, Group C barely met req ilvl that would most likely be fate spammers, Group C cant win the fight they have to all 3 pts fail cause of C. Dont try to defend it Yoshi stated it that there are parts that the 3 parties can help one another, but parts that they have to do on their own. Added with AFKers that all they have to do is giggle a button and stay connected, trolls, or people like myself with problems with 90K boss that might dc at a crucial part of a fight. And the elitists that will just leave if other 2 parties are inadequate.I see CT just being a cesspool of filth. All i know is i wanna see fun stuff in there like hey look at that boss he looks like a clown.....OMG ITS KEFKA! Or hey they 3 party thing seems familiar OMG BIZZARO SEPHIROTH!! An awesome fight where you can watch party 1 2 and 3 fight certain parts of him they it switches to other pt. THAT would make up for the horrible decision even if temporary to destroy reason to have a FC more than 8 ppl.

Welp, I gave you a fair shot FFXIV. I'm already bored to tears and was really looking for this patch to revitalize my interest. The fact that it's easier than Coil already did damage to that, but I still looked forward to being able to raid with 23 of my FC members at least and have some fun. But not even that now? This kind of sums up my feelings.

What a disappointment. This is going to bleed some subs. Some of us have more than 8 players we want to group with, which we hoped to be able to do in CT. We're not elitists or jerks or whatever, we just have more than 8 friends we enjoy playing with, even if not a full 24. We already rotate and have some sit as it is for 8 mans. It's beyond stupid that we'd have to do the same for 24-mans.

Oh well, maybe next patch will make it better. Or the one after. Or we'll claim the one after that will when it comes around. ♥

Can we have an official answer? Will we be able to build premade CT group or will we have to mess up the DF with tag/ragequit until our 3 PT are together?

You know, on a more on-topic comment. It does sometimes feel like the XIV dev team like to go three steps forward, then two steps backwards. So they're getting to the right place, one step at a time.

Just it sucks, That this is going wreck the social aspect for what the free companies or guilds are design to be. Large groups of people working together. Yet By having to only 8 man CT on the duty finder with random people on other servers or maybe if lucky get same servers of people or free company group to pop up on the 8 man party. With out the option of having 24 people going in as a free company. What is the point of even having free companies in the game if all the game is going to be is a 8 man or a lone wolves game. Be a little different if the game was every server was connected to one giant server and one world server as a whole.
