    Additional Changes to Overpower and Steel-Cyclone

    What I propose boils down to two thing:

    Change Overpower
    - Heavy Swing > Overpower = 1 Stack of Wrath
    - Lower TP to 110

    I'm thankful for the upcoming changes to Overpower: More enmity per move = less spamming. But it's still more TP efficient for WAR to cross-class Flash, even though WAR has no native MP recovery.

    PLD doesn't lose TP when managing multiple mobs, and can gain back MP indefinitely with Riot Blade.

    If WAR will now be using Wrath for mitigation, WAR should have a way to build stacks the same way PLD can regain MP and use cooldowns.


    Change Steel Cyclone
    - Remove Wrath x5 Requirement
    - Remove Defiance Penalty exception
    - High TP Requirement (130/150)
    - Combo from Overpower Combo gives Wrath
    - 100% Damage dealt as HP (on each target)

    This would make Steel Cyclone situational and not spammable while also being, most importantly, usable.

    Though I agree, over-merit would be the best choice I would use to also disagree with you. I love the changes thus far they gave us. I do not want to leave our Paladin brothers out of the good fight, we gotta make due on what we get and make more of it.

    So making Steel Cyclone, weaker and much more costly, makes it useful how?
    In this scenario, Overpower is just better in every singlke regard.

    Apparently, reading is not fundamental because it's listed there as the last point. Essentially, this Steel Cyclone would give WAR an AOE HP recovery to contrast with IB Single Target. The TP is higher so that WARs would have to be conservative with it and not resort to using it in favor of other abilities.

    The reason I'm recommending taking it off the Wrath requirement is that it takes too long to build up to be worthwhile even now.

    My idea was proposed in the interest of fairness, because obviously a 200 damage AOE 100% Damage > HP Recovery move should have some sort of drawback or it'll just be OP.

    But if you never played Warrior in 1.0, I can't expect you to know that. What I'm proposing is essentially returning to that style of play without making the job OP.

    5-10% change that your next Overpower makes Steel Cyclone free.

    Putting healing on Steel Cyclone is too much.

    agree with this. Let's see what the updates do to us in the real world and then go from there. The changes we are getting are really a god send. My FC and I are excited to bring my AF2/Relic WAR to some endgame content finally, rather than sitting on the bench or going BRD.

    LOVE this idea. Kind of like on BRD where you have a chance from Wide Volley to proc Rain of Death. That would be a great AOE mechanic for sure, would be a lot of fun to use. I know I like on BRD on SR's when I am just hoping to see RoD proc, creates some excitement
