Warrior Relic Weapon Issue With Stats

Is anyone else in the least bit curious why our relic weapon has skill speed on it instead of accuracy? Yes, this is a bit of a rant but I'm tired of stupid, worthless stats on gear that doesn't do anything useful.

26 skill speed doesn't give us a lick of an edge over anything nor does it make a big difference of anything. I would like to get something going where the dev's can give us worthwhile stats and put accuracy in place of skill speed on the relic. If we can't hit anything, skill speed is worthless regardless. Tanks need to hit stuff to hold threat, not miss but have more skill speed.

I really hope SE doesn't say Allagan battleaxe... Because I like bravura much more... The name alone is awsome! The allagan battleaxe looks like a wizards cane...

... So.. I'm gonna say it.. Allagan Battleaxe. You shouldn't be surprised at all that the relic axe would have a one sucky stat to it, they made it really easy (If you're able to kill Titan HM) to get the relic weapons which at the current moment are on par with the Allagan weapons in Turn 5 but the only difference is.. one or two stats? Which makes sense in my opinion.. you get handed a fairly EASY to get now item level 90 item... which has a one worthless stat on it meanwhile the Allagan weapon which is not easy to get at all has similiar stats but instead of that one or so crappy stat.. It gives you one that you can benefit for it.. Gotta work for what you actually need.

PLD doesn't (nor does DRG, BRD, or WHM). Curtana has both acc and parry on it from the get go. The Allagan Sword has the same stats a slightly tweaked ratio. Both of the secondary stats on them are the best stats for tanks. WAR gets a weapon with parry and skill speed or accuracy and determination: no matter what, one of your secondary stats as a WAR is going to be effectively wasted itemization. In almost every case, the PLD gear is, at *worst* only marginally worse than the Allagan equivalent. There's a lot of WAR gear that just has terrible itemization.

Of course, when discussing the WAR weaps, you have to consider that, no matter what, you'll only get one good tank stat on a WAR weapon: Bravura gets parry but has itemization wasted on skill speed whereas the Allagan Axe get acc but itemization wasted on determination. Regardless of which weapon you go with, you're not getting the stats that you really want.

Determination isn't a 'waste' on how Warrior is at the moment, can't say for 2.1. It sure as hell isn't something you should go out your way for but if a tank item drops that is a upgrade for the warrior and has determination.. Greeeeat! Poor man's strength/heals to help you out a little bit.

And yes if I recall correctly the Allagan Battleaxe has faster auto speed. Beats the bravura more then one way.. I prefer the Bravura over the.. wizard cane axe but -shrug- it'll be better no matter what. Especially with it going to item level 95 in 2.1

You realize that all Allagan weapons are stronger due to quicker Auto Attack swings right? Yeah it sucks that Allagan Battleaxe is a Wizard's Cane but Bravura ain't a piece of work either. Got Allagan Scholar book this week and sure hell is f-u-g-l-y... Only Allagan Sword looks decent... Please no Accuracy I'm in over it with my Gryphonskins, I'd take Critical Rating anyday!!!

Weapon damage contribution is normalized, it doesn't matter. Fast or Slow if it's the same item level it's going to contribute the same amount of damage. The only exception for tanks is a PLD using sword oath in which the contribution is directly related to how quickly you can hit the target since it's a flat per-hit bonus.

Not to mention tank damage contribution in this game means fuck all unless your DPS are mediocre players.
