To Yoshi-P, Why is the Vanity System Not Coming for 2.1?

Even during development, during your interviews the vanity system was apparently done. Why wait till the second patch or later to put it in?

Personally I would rather have vanity slots in 2.1 than pvp, or some of the other features coming in the patch like housing. I hate the look of the darklight tank armour, like the majority of the tanking community does, but will have to wear it in order to tank for the primals and eventually, coil.

I thank you for addressing many issues on the forums a couple days ago, but the lack of a vanity system is just as much of a concern than our unexpected wait for 2.1, or the need to rebalance of the warrior class (which i'm very thankful and excited for as my alt is a warrior).

Can you please address this on november 22 when taking questions from the forums?

A vanity system is the only way to increase variety and diversity in the visuals of the players. Right now most high level players of each class look exactly the same.

I love this game and excited for 2.1, but fail to understand why the vanity system is planned for later than sooner.
