Dhorme Chimera question

It's going to be my first time doing the dhorme chimera quest for the relic weapon. I've been reading guides before trying the quest and a lot of them say that the OT shouldn't do any other skills other than stun ONE of the chimera's 'Rams voice' or 'Dragons voice' throughout the whole duty.
The only thing I'm confused about is the resist. Don't enemies resist the stun after the 3rd time? how does the OT continue to stun the boss without it resisting?

The so called DR (Diminishing Returns) decreases the time of the stun, more and more, until it resists. But(!) it resets after a certain amount of time.
When the OT stuns the Dragons Voice and 1-2 bards silence the Rams voice (yes, silence works on the rams voice) it works rly good.

The reset of the DR is also the reason why PLDs can play stunbot at Ifrit HM.

We always use one BRD to silence and one PLD to stun and have them rotate turns interrupting every Dragon's Voice and Ram's Voice. Never seen Chimera resisting stun or silence with this setup.

When you say rotate turns that means that BRD silences only rams or dragon voice while PLD stuns the other right?

I guess he means:
Chim cals Voice (no matter wich one) -> BRD Silence -> Chim calls Voice -> PLD Stun -> Chim calls Voice -> BRD Silence -> etc.

Im not sure if you can silence Dragons Voice too now, maybe there was a change or I learned it the wrong way on my runs. ^^

No, I mean they use their ability to stun / silence whichever is coming when it's their turn.

You can stun or silence both of them. I solo stun it on PLD. I stun Ram and silence Dragon if I think someone is going to get hit. I've seen him do Ram, Dragon, Ram one after the other, and had no problem stopping it with stun, silence, stun.

Its actually easier to just solo tank it and grab 2 BRDs, 1 for each voice (so setup is 1 Tank, 2 Healer and 5 DPS). The increase DPS makes it so much easier than having a PLD exclusively for stunning.

Just gonna advise that if you don't have a pld stunbot and use a rotation, you should just make it every other voice rather than giving each silencer their own voice,
It generally works, but sometimes it throws a curve ball and will use the same voice twice in a row before the silence is back off CD. It's rare but it happens.
