this screenshot here makes me wanna do it (sup hilde, nice one you got there) not because of the buffs from SE, yea the buffs are nice and i thank you for that

but before making a new one... im just... curious, whats your highest damage output? like this guy here...

because as a PLD ill never achieve that, but i like tanking class so...

feel free to post your highest damage screenshot here, but im only talking about tank dps, a PLD and a WAR, sure you guys that went pure dps classes can do more damage than us, its obvious

and for the PLD, i need your screenshot too, its just for comparing and stuff

i will put the highest damage person on first page so it wont be buried

Warrior (not MRD) in tanking gear, VIT spec. Used Gryphonskin accessories with tanking melds (Vit/Parry) Berserk and STR pot.

Did not have the group buff for being grouped with a DRG/MNK so this would go up a bit with that.

My apologies for no screenshot, but the highest I've been able to obtain(mind you, this is with tanking gear), was 820 crit on butcher's block. This was with berserk, unchained, internal release, maim, etc. Just about everything. It surprised me actually. I was quite happy to see it.

You could achieve a similar number as a Gladiator. The secret to the 1.1k Storm's Eye is the fact he's using Blood for Blood (LNC), Raging Strikes (ARC), Berserk, Maim, Storm's Eye debuff and is also a MRD, not a WAR. Substitute Berserk with Fight or Flight and have a WAR/MRD use Storm's Eye and the only thing you're missing is an equivalent to Maim.

What Fuuljo said. He's basically blowing all offensive CD at once for a single big hit as a Marauder with more offensive options. What you don't see here is that he might have dps accessories on as well as using potions of strength for a short burst of damage. I wonder why he didn't just use Butcher's Block or Inner Beast for higher potency attack than storm's eye.

Well, to be fair, there is SOME point since WAR's self heals are based on damage. Highest IB crit would be interesting to see.
