    Hydra Fight

Ran Hydra twice. First time, cakewalk, one try, my first time, tank barely took any damage by circle-strafing the hydra. Second time was wipe after wipe after wipe, mainly due to the "Infirmity" debuff. The fight guide I read said it can be Esuna-d away, but I have personally tried to remove the debuff from myself and Esuna seems to have no effect.

Can the Infirmity debuff be avoided? Tanks didn't seem to know how and my only previous experience was an absolute cakewalk, so I was never told. Thank you.

It can be avoided, I believe both Radiant Breath and White Breath inflict it.

But no, Esuna and Leeches do not remove it.

White breath is front conal and is easy enough to get around. Radiant breath is a donut-shaped AOE and will only hit you if you are mid-range.

You avoid the infirmity by not eating the frontal cone aoe. You avoid the aoe by moving away from it when you see it. It's just retarded when people spin the boss. If you have trouble avoiding the aoe then either something is wrong with your game performance or you're just doing it wrong. It's a pizza slice shaped aoe. The closer you are to the center of the boss the less area you have to cover to avoid it. In fact if you stand almost under the boss then you're out of the aoe with just a few steps sideways. I don't think I've ever gotten hit by the radiant breath so can't comment on that one. If you're running with 2 tanks then infirmity shouldn't instantly cause a wipe since the cleave damage is halved and healers shouldn't need to heal the other party members that much. Paladins especially can pop cooldowns if it looks bad.
