I was thinking about what SE might to do give the tanks some flavor, without breaking things. This has nothing to do with omg-buffs, but just the desire to keep warrior and paladin as separate beasts.
First, make flash blind baseline. Warrior's flash could blind starting at 7 seconds, while paladin starts at 15, just because it is the paladin's skill. Yes, this is a buff to warrior, but it's sensible. It changes nothing for Paladin from its current state.
Give warriors "Improved Overpower", "Your overpower has a 20% chance against each target to pacify the target." Working the same as paladin's pacify, it would be 5 seconds the first strike against a target and 3 seconds if the target was struck again by the effect.
Give paladins "Improved Flash", Double's blind duration (up from the 7.5 baseline, so 15, just like we have it now) and reduces the remaining recast time on circle of scorn by 2 seconds.
Give Warrior's a bonus to tomahawk that refreshes but does not add a wrath stack. Actually, it could add a wrath stack, or have a chance to since tomahawk is prohibitively expensive on TP.
As others have said in other threads, make Sword Oath decrease the paladin's enmity (on everything but flash, if possible). A paladin who wants to do more damage AND tank in trivial content could just use no oath at all, Shield for tanking, and Sword for Off-tanking/waiting.
Take both oaths off the GCD and free on MP. A Paladin freshly raised doesn't have the MP to pop shield oath, and mana potions give non-mages a pitiful amount of mp.
Add an effect to Improved Bloodbath that decreases the TP cost of every ability by 20% while under the effect of Bloodbath.
Add an effect to Improved Rampart that increases the paladin's mana return while under the effects of rampart. The effect could be based on damage taken (10% of damage taken for the duration is returned as MP.
Does anyone have any other ideas? Good flavor ideas are things that shouldn't change the course of the battle if they don't happen, and I'm trying to avoid talking about real buffs.
Make WAR's Mercy Stroke give the warrior mp proportionate to damage dealt, along with current effects.
