Still waiting for the toxic level 50 community

It's been improving... a lot of those people probably quit after their subscriptions ran out. I still see quite a bit of toxicity in Northern Thanalar, and I've never have had a pleasant CM or Praetorium run without at least a few people exploding at those watching cutscenes.

I must have been very lucky to encounter groups like that on my first time for both then.
It is not like they waited for those watching the cutscenes, but no one yelled at anyone either.

I wouldn't say the community is toxic at all, but is more reserved and just unfriendly. There are a lot of friendly people out there but it seems the majority don't talk and only want to get it over with as fast as possible and they can get abusive if you make a mistake. Like I said I wouldn't call it toxic but I would prefer a community that is more relaxed and chatty over what we have now.

Most players established their circle of friends they play with already so less of that toxic stuff. Content has become repetitive, easy, and dull as well so less reasons to rage.

How "toxic" the community is largely depends on what you do and when. Elitism isn't too severe right now, the best gear available is attainable by any player given time and skill. Most of the toxicity I see is either in Revenant's Troll shout conversations or on the forums, but even then, it's average at worst. Overall the community is pretty decent.

I like it how there's a distinct lack of eastern Europeans threatening to murder you if you screw up. Then again the last online game I spent any amount of time in was DotA 2...

Yeah so far other than Titan DF the people I've teamed up with at worse were sloppy, and I'm not a flawless run or GTFO kind of person myself so its been pretty decent for myself. Worst I've had was one hopelessly undergeared/skilled AK run and I got kicked from a Titan HM "LF group" I helped start because of my gear (guess they never encountered a Paladin that knew how to properly use their mitigation cooldowns or something ....)
