Though Sinspawn were from Sin which was a conjuration from the fayth. Not from space. And Lavos is another from another series (though still square). And outside of cross-companies crossovers, the only one i can think of is really tactics ogre which we got armor from.

Anima was also a dream of the fayth, albeit created from a woman who wanted to save the world for her son's sake. They copied none of that into this game. They can perform something similar to the Sinspawn in this game without having the "Sin" nod match how it was in FFX.

Actually I do kind of hope the Developers take the chance to do a Chrono Trigger Crossover with lavos since we got Ultima Thule.
