I was wondering how people felt about the state of skill procs in this game. I main as WHM and there are two major procs we get, one of which plays a large part in mp conservation.

Freecure: Grants a 15% chance that after casting Cure, the MP cost of your next Cure II will be 0
Overcure: Grants a 15% chance that after casting Cure II, your next Cure III will be critical.

BRD is in a similar situation with their AOE skills and Bloodletter procs, and SCH with the Succor proc using Sacred Soil. These procs seem to be on strictly RNG basis as I have gotten back-to-back-to-back procs many times (Bloodletter spamming dots on aoe packs), but also I have experienced complete dearths for long periods (maddening on WHM when we need Freecure to keep from flatlining).

In WoW, many procs were similarly chance-based, but also included a proc-per-minute mechanic so that players were eventually guaranteed one with enough time passed. This made gameplay a lot more consistant, and in my opinion, a lot more fun knowing that you weren't completely victim to RNG gods for killing things as opposed to overmeldingwtf. It sure is fun getting 5 bloodletter procs in a row, but it sure as hell isn't when you never get a Freecure and you have enough mp problems as it is.

But then, I guess I just like actually being able to utilize my procs. Thoughts?
