Summoner question!

I have seen several post about summoners regarding gear but cannot find one that asks Relic +1 or gear first?

I have done my research for sch (my main class) and was asked to swap over to smn for dps spot in coil. Is +1 relic worth it or is AF+1 gear better? I dont know how yo weigh the stats vs +magic damage on weapon. Any help would be great!

Relic +1 first. Magic damage is worth about 7 int per 1 damage. Second best item would be AF+1 Body, but requires a good deal of non-DL items to make up for the lost accuracy, so don't get it too quickly.

Make sure you are prepared to take the -34 acc hit from losing the DL cowl after you +1 your weapon and get a body. Crit > Det for us.
