how long to beat titan hm?

It's a matter of luck, it took me a while to beat Primals for me, I was in AF for Ifrit and Garuda, had to have Hoplite and ifrit sword for titan took me a week to get the gear trying random runs in between, Finally did it with a premade of 5 DPS, 2 Healer 1 Tank(me) with 0 darklight on. I think its just the luck of the draw. Honestly Titan is the easiest Primal to tank. It's very healer and DPS dependent. I also have a friend that has done 4 relics in duty finder/ shout groups. So its luck of the draw.

I was curious about how long will it take to beat titan? I'm a pld in full dl. Healers do fine usually with me but every match I've done (close to 45) people are dead before heart and I haven't killed heart once yet. I've played with close to 15 groups so far. 12 in duty finder rest premade. About how many groups and attempts did it take the rest of you to finally succeed in titan? Three days doing nothing but losing to titan is really making the game lose all fun.

You should solo tank and have 5 dps, 2 healers. That's how you get the dps to clear heart phase. Have at least one melee dps to lb the heart if you need to. For healers have one sch for aoe heals and one whm to keep your ass alive. From there just make sure everybody dodges properly. It's hard and you have to react really quickly, but not impossible to clear. 2 tanks will slow your dps too much so don't use the duty finder.

It's been a month, with 3 or 4 hours per day of tries, and still not beat...

I've fought him well over 50 times with no win.

Dodging his moves has been second nature to me for a long time now. I don't get hit by anything that can be avoided and I'm routinely the last person alive in any run.

Sadly, I'm stuck. I can't ever seem to find a PUG with ppl who are competent enough to complete it, and when I think it do, other players (who should know better) keep screwing things up and ppl get angry and quit. (I have started a running count of ppl with Relic+1s that get hit by landslides in my fights.)

It's not just random PUGs either... I've been the 7th member in experienced FC groups (with relics and +1s) and I've been asked to stay while they've kicked their own members out of the fight for eating a plume, bomb, or landslide. But something always goes wrong.... Always. Chalk it up to bad luck I guess.

Still, I refuse to buy the win.

UPDATE: Finally got it after 96 total attempts. Joined a PUG that shouted that anyone who died pre-phase 5 would be kicked. We did some runs, kicked ppl who died, picked up some others and finally beat it with a perfect run, no deaths. --- Moral of the story: If you want to win, make sure you're the best in any pt you're in-- and then don't waste time with ppl who can't carry their own weight in that fight.

Don't buy the win. 150k for a wannabe group that still wipes is a waste

First time I downed him (as well as the first time our FC downed him) it took about 3 or 4 tries, about 30 Min, I was tanking it. 1 of our Healer and 2 of our DPS had already gotten their relics through PUG groups. Most of us were in DL/AK gear mix with Garuda weapons, we farmed Garuda for like 4 or 5 hours to get our the Weapons, sadly I wasn't able to get my Sword so I was tanking it using my GC weapon.

After our core group got their Relic we have been downing him every saturday / sunday to help our other FC mates get their Relics as well as for alt classes. After you get some practice, Titan actually isn't that hard, I even solo healed a PUG group once as my SCH (Relic + full DL) after the WHM died to the first Geocrush and wouldn't take the rez, said he wouldn't survive the AOEs. The group was expecting a wipe, didn't think I was able to solo heal the whole fight (honestly thought we were going to wipe too), was a fun experience.
