Yep, MNK and SMN, killed it halfway between second and third repels. Ridiculous dps!

Don't a lot of groups get it down during the second repel cast or sooner? Not sure I'd call an extra 10 seconds or so past that "ridiculous dps."

MNK can top DPS on Demon Wall. Easy. Flank combo non stop.

A lot of it still depends on how much damage the healer and tank are doing.

2x MNK or MNK+SMN I have had my quickest Demon Wall kills; though it could have easily been any combo of 2 jobs. Don't leave out how much the non-DPS roles are providing. We have beat it a few times where the healer never even needed to heal.

A LS member has also beat AK with 4x SMN entirely almost 2 months ago now; that was probably an insanely quick kill of Demon Wall.

Fair enough. I mean, that's why I pop Foe's regardless of what the other DD is; I assume the healer will be dps'ing. At the same time, in the absence of information on what the tank/healer were doing, all I can tell is that the group's dps overall was only medium. . .

Maybe! But my point is its not like monks are bad at demon wall.

Even dragoons only lose less than 10% of their dps, even if it feels like much more.

Worst-case scenario, if you're on Coeurl form and need to brace for Repel, you could always use Rockbreaker: 130 potency instead of 100 from an unflanked Snap.

Snap is 140 potency from unflanked though.
