Why not make event armor and weapons scale with your level?

I don't think I've seen a single game where gear scaled with your character... Not even in single-player titles.

Heirloom gear did exactly this in World of Warcraft. http://www.wowwiki.com/Heirloom <--- Go here, read, and scroll down to see the way that gear worked. This is a good idea. But I think it's far too early to add shit like that to the game yet.
