    If it scaled but was below par for level: nobody uses past initial level range.

    If it scaled on par/above par with level: I get a level 13 item that I don't replace for 32 levels - or 37 for weapons.

    Both would be poor MMO design. Granted with fate spams you can already do the same with lower level gear, but that's a different type of poor MMO design.

    They could make just these items upgreadable, just like in ff 13. For post 50 ilvl make mats drop from instances.

    Gear should only scale down, not up.
    Or you would see people in swimsuits doing coil. Why get ilevel 90 gear if a ilevel 1 gear scaled up do the same job?

    That single change would really harm Crafting more than it already does.

    I mean, why bother craft when you shove event gear from 1-50 and completely negate the need of gear that an Armorer or Weaponsmith does?

    Especially with how easy it is to get said even items?

    Usually how it works with this type of gear is this way.... After the level cap is taken off once... or i'd say even a second time.. then that gear is released. But only for it to go from level 1 ~ 50 (aka the initial level cap). After it hits that level it stops, and you have to level the rest of the way without it.
